Falmouth Laughter Yoga Video on Patch.com
We've had a really great response to our Laughter Yoga sessions at Marine Park. We have made many new laughter friends and really raised our profile here in town.
Recently, our group was visited by Emily Sussman, the local representative for Patch.com. She produced a wonderful video of the event that we want to share with everyone.

The Story of Cape Cod Laughter Yoga
Cape Cod Laughter Yoga is run by Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders Clare and Alan Goodwin.
Clare first heard of Laughter Yoga from a friend during the Summer of 2005. Recognizing the therapeutic benefits of laughter, Clare searched for a local Laughter Yoga group. Unable to find one, she decided to become a Laughter Yoga Leader.
After studying with Lynn Caesar, Clare received her certification from the Dr. Kataria School of Laughter Yoga. Clare asked Alan to commit to laughing with her on Monday mornings. He happily agreed and together they planned the Cape Cod Laughter Club.
The former Inkwell Bookstore in Falmouth Village offered them free use of their meeting room. They told a few friends, hung a few posters and showed up, half expecting that the two of them would be laughing together in an otherwise empty room. Happily, six people showed up that first day and over the next few weeks their numbers grew to fifteen or sixteen. The Falmouth Laughter Circle had been born.
About Alan and Clare
Alan and Clare Goodwin have been married since 1981 and live in Falmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. They combine their creative talents in many ways, particularly in regard to the creation of mandalas and laughter.
Having experienced the benefits of laughter first hand, Clare searched for a local Laughter Yoga Group. Unable to find one, she became a Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and founded the Cape Cod Laughter Yoga Group. When she asked Alan to join her in laughter he happily agreed. They both love sharing the healing and transformative power of laughter with others.
